WHAT IS TDS AND WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?
TDS = Total Dissolved Solids, which are the inorganic salts and organic matter in a liquid. The lower the TDS level, the purer the water is. Conversely, higher TDS levels indicates more particles dissolved in liquid.
